The Food Summit Revolution is a great place to gather information on why food matters so much. On Limitless Growth we preach the need to grow food ourselves or utilizing someone else’s skills to grow food on your property for sustainability and health.
This summit features some amazing speakers who are experts in their field. This page has schedules and my own personal notes of what stuck out in my head at the end of the day.
I hope you enjoy the summit. It’s important to take in this information for your health and longevity.

April 24: Revolution
How Food Can Change Your Life
April 24, 2021 11 AM EDT (8 AM PDT)
You’ll find out the truth about genetics, soy, sulforaphane, resveratrol, wine, mushrooms, coffee, and how you can eat to kick cancer to the curb while loving your life!
Notes:
You’ll hear Dr. Li’s breakthrough insights on what to eat to build a healthy immune system, and find out what the research tells us about how your dietary choices could impact COVID-19.
This was a great day of information! Below you will find some notes I took throughout the talk. Here are my 5 big takeaways on today’s talks:
- The densest form of sulforaphane is from broccoli sprouts. Broccoli sprouts are extremely easy to grow and require no soil or mess. We’ll release a video to show you how as soon as possible.
- If you’re going to have a burger and fries, make sure you have a bowl of fruit after!
- Milk products increase your chance of cancer and pretty much every other illness.
- Soy isn’t actually causing breast cancer and may reduce it. Nice advertising campaigns by dairy farmers to demonize soy.
- Eating sustainably grown produce can help the world in many realms of life.

The research that origianlly shown that feeding lots of soy to rats increases cancer rates is outdated. Currently there are 10 human studies that are showing soy lowers breast cancer by 30-60%
On the other hand, dairy increases cancer rate by 50%
212% increase in death between heavy and lower consumers of lard and butter
Soys Relation to Cancer
The research that origianlly shown that feeding lots of soy to rats increases cancer rates is outdated, yes, it increases estrogen, but not in the negative way that animal protein does.
Currently, there are 10 human studies that are showing soy lowers breast cancer by 30-60%
On the other hand, dairy increases cancer rate by 50%
Negative Effect Of Dairy
Estrogen derives from fat. Butter, whipping cream, etc has far more estrogen.
212% increase in death between heavy and lower consumers of lard and butter
Sulforaphane
Sulforaphane helps fight cancer
Sulforaphane is a sulfur-rich compound found in cruciferous vegetables like broccoli, bok choy, and cabbage. It has been shown to provide powerful health benefits.
Cooking depletes sulforaphane.
Tip – Chop up raw broccoli to sprinkle over roasted broccoli. Add whole-grain mustard or a pinch of mustard powder.
Sulforaphane fed to mice reduced cancer stem cells and reduced it in a matter of weeks. Sulforaphane came from broccoli sprouts.
Broccoli sprouts are the highest concentrated form of sulforaphane.
Make your own broccoli sprouts!
Get seeds, soak overnight, put on glass jar with lid made for sprouting, rinse sprouts eat day and drain them.
Mushrooms
An anti-cancer diet would include mushrooms
a daily intake of 10 grams (half one button mushroom) dropped breast cancer rates by 64% compared to no mushroom eaters.
The cheap mushrooms can be even more powerful with more cancer-fighting Phytonutrients than the expensive ones.
Phytochemicals
Phytochemicals reduce estrogen and thus reduce cancer cells. Phytochemicals are found in plants. A healthy whole foods diet rich in phytonutrients reduces the risk of cancer.
Genetic?
It’s more so the lifestyle and food choices that determine health issues, not genetics. Genetics are more likely to choose your lifestyle and food choices, but we can change that and reduce our chance of getting these illnesses.
87% of women who get breast cancer don’t have a mother or sister with the disease.
Alcohol
Alcohol is a carcinogen
It produces estrogen
It inactivates the production of folate from your leafy greens
A drink a day will increase breast cancer by 10%
Coffee
5 cups a day of coffee with healthy sized women reduced the risk of cancer but doubled your chance of cancer in overweight women
Doubled the development of breast cancer in women over 23 BNI
